Teaching From The Heart
I remember a time my French teacher in high school took the time to align her lessons to what we thought was relevant. From cooking classes to ski field trips, Ms. Little made the classroom full of energy. She made learning fun and intern made it easier to remember the lessons for that week.
“The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.”
We learn when we can laugh at ourselves. No one better than Robin Williams showed us this. Robin in his movies Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting, Patch Adams and The Fisher King all gave us something to think about. But only in Dead Poets Society did he bring to light (actor) that laughing at ourselves first, can bring our imagination to light. (My favorite scene) Example of teaching from the heart…
